Bendleby’s Big Night for Little Legends

A Big Night Out for a Bloody Good Cause at Bendleby Ranges

It’s back! The Bendleby Bash has become a much-loved annual event at Bendleby Ranges — a cracking spot in the Southern Flinders that’s not just award-winning, but seriously one of our favourite places in SA. It’s a working sheep and cattle station turned adventure-lover’s paradise, and the crew out there know how to throw a party.

This year’s bash is shaping up to be bigger, better and redder than ever — all in support of the big-hearted blokes behind Team Elmo and their bright red XP Falcon.

Charlie Luckcraft, who owns Bendleby, is one-third of the trio. He’s teaming up with Kelvin Tiller, a grain grower from Pinery, and Josh Pfeiffer, a Barossa winemaker and the brains behind Barossa Wine Cartel. Together, these three country mates have turned heads and raised serious funds — more than $50,000 last year alone — by donning red suits and hitting the road with the Variety SA Bash.

Before they take off on this year’s rally (kicking off August 8), they’re throwing one massive fundraiser under the stars, to help notch up another $50k for kids who need it most.

There’ll be live music from Prime Mover, delicious eats from The Smoke Syndicate American Grill, plenty of drink choices (cocktails, Flinders Gin and of course Barossa Wine Cartel) a roaring bonfire, and free entertainment for the kids.

Gather your mates, your family, your best vibes — and get ready for a night that’s all heart, all fun, and all for the kids.
