From Pizza Vans To Helicopters, The Businesses Behind Barossa Events Have Been Celebrated

Turns out the Barossa isn’t just good at wine.

Behind every long lunch, wedding, festival, fundraiser and big-name concert is a small army of florists, photographers, caterers, musicians, makeup artists, and venue owners pulling it all together.

Many of them were recognised at the Barossa Event Industry Awards 2026, shining a light on the people and businesses helping keep the region’s events scene thriving.

Some of the region’s biggest and best-known operators were among the major winners, including large-scale events, tourism operators and venues recognised across multiple categories.

The People Behind The Party

Seppeltsfield’s Red Hot Summer Tour claimed Best Music/Arts Event, while Fino Seppeltsfield picked up Best In House Event Catering.

Barossa Helicopters won the gong for Best Event Experience, Lambert Estate Wines took home Best Event Venue and the popular Anlaby Spring Festival was named Best Annual Event.

Many of the businesses recognised through the Barossa Event Industry Awards play a major role in the region’s busy tourism and events calendar, which attracts visitors year-round through weddings, festivals, food experiences and live music events across the Barossa.

The Barossa Event Industry Awards also recognised the many smaller businesses working behind the scenes, from florists and makeup artists to photographers, celebrants and equipment hire companies.

Other winners included Fleur Social, Makeup by Sara, The Barking Ants, Barossa Function Hire, Jessica Kies, Kenzie St George and Jo Cross Celebrations by Jo.

The Barossa Christmas Parade was named Best Community Event, while the Tony Kuchel Memorial Roundup received the award for Best Event for a Cause/Charity.

New business The Hidden Flower Farm was also recognised, taking out Best New Event Business.
