Mem Fox, Brad Hogg, Fashion Parades & More – Here’s What’s on at Yorke Peninsula Field Days
It’s that time again – the Yorke Peninsula Field Days is cropping up at Paskeville, turning a quiet patch of dirt into a buzzing little city that attracts more than 20,000 people over three massive days.
This is Australia’s oldest field days, where hundreds of exhibitors roll in to showcase everything from cutting-edge farm machinery and tech to home innovations, regional services, and fashion — all served with a hearty side of country hospitality.

Guest Speaker Pavilion – Mem Fox, Tricia Stringer & Expert Talks
The Guest Speaker Pavilion is where the stories come to life. South Aussie bestselling author, Tricia Stringer, will be launching her brand-new book, you can check out the latest Thermomix release and get some tips on how to grow “beautiful” roses. Australia’s legendary children’s author, Mem Fox, is also heading to Paskeville – who better to get a gig at a farming fair than someone who’s written a book about sheep!
Wool, Working Dogs & Style – YP Field Days Highlights
Fresh from the Royal Adelaide Show, talented young judges will test their sheep judging and wool classing skills in the Murray Allen Wool and Sheep Pavilion. There’ll be daily shearing demos, working sheep dog trials and Extreme Drones wowing the crowd with the latest in ag technology.
The YP Field Days fashion parade is always a highlight, and this year there’ll be nine shows across the three days, showcasing local brands, led by former Married At First Sight bride and Miss Congeniality!
History Meets Horsepower – Classic Machines and Tractor Action
It’s not all shiny new gear! Take a wander through the Vintage Machinery and Historical Displays and check out the rough-and-ready workhorses that once kept farms running. Then feel the rumble of the Vintage Tractor Pull powered by Mundoora Progress Association and Hunts Fuel. And don’t miss the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club as they celebrate 100 years of Caterpillar.

Hoggie Hits Paskeville – Cricket, Farming Wisdom & Mental Health Tips
Catch Aussie cricket legend Brad Hogg, who grew up on a wheat and sheep farm in WA, sharing laughs, lessons, and some good old paddock wisdom. As Grain Producers Australia’s Farmer Mates Mental Health Ambassador, he’s here to talk about the highs, lows, and importance of looking after each other in farming communities.
There’s entertainment and exhibits to suit every taste – especially if you feel like weaving your way through the pavilions to do some sampling of tasty treats and top drops. The kids are covered too – they can do some exploring and sampling of their own by following the Greens Plains Children’s Track.
Tickets are cheaper online, so grab yours early and save your cash for a stick of metwurst, new boots, and that thing you didn’t know you needed but suddenly can’t live without.
